Persona 4 crazy lag all of a sudden
#1
Ok, I'm about 3 hours in P4, just went into the weapons store and bought armor.Until this point the game has been running pretty much flawlessly at 60 fps. However when i exit to the shopping district for the first time. It drops to a whopping 5-10 fps. All battles from this point are at a CONSTANT 5-10 fps even though all prior battlesequences was smooth as butter. It all seems connected to me starting using savestates instead of memsaves in the game.

I get the following log from the background-prompt:
SuperVU reset > Resetting compiler memory and structure
SuperVU[VU0] reset > resetting memory recs and junk
SuperVU[VU1] reset > resetting memory recs and junk
- These 3 commands keep looping during all the sections with crazy lag in-game.

Any idea as to what is causing this? The game has gone from buttery smooth to totally unplayable

My specs are:

CPU : E8400@3.8Ghz
Gfx: 9800GTX
Ram: 4Gb ddr2
OS: Vista 64bit

I'm using latest pcsx beta version(rev 708 I think ), however the problem persists with pcsx 0.95 and 0.94 even after deleting inis and reconfiguring.
My pcsx2 config:
Gfx:
Gsdx 0.1.14: Dx10 hardware, texturefiltering on, everything else of, res 1650*1080

Sound: SpU2Ghz

Advanced: All denormals to zero + all flush to zero, clamp mode normal

Speed hacks: X2 + IOP + waitcycles ON

Thx for any replys, this is reeeaally frustrating as i this is one of my favorite games.
