Persona 4 issue? o_O

I hadn't had any problems with the game thus far, and am at day 20/4. Now, when I try to leave the school, it goes to the "map" menu, but when I press down to choose any other locations where I wanna go, nothing happens. The side screen/little video is working, the music is working, no lag, it just... doesn't work.
Is this a glitch of some sort? Is there any way of fixing it? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

It's not an issue related to Pcsx2, use the other up-down buttons ( D-pad or Left analog stick ).

Oh wow, thanks. I hadn't even realized I hadn't configured my keyboard to the D-pad. I sure feel stupid now.
