How about me? I've only gotten about 20fps once I get inside this ship (in the intro with Snake). FPS stay much higher up until then. And I still haven't fixed transparent Snake in the rain. Although, that's not really slowing me down. I can live with that (especially if it's only in the rain), but 20fps? Not happening.

I've been using PCSX2 0.9.6 1888 for quite some time (heck, the same could be said about PCSX2 in general) and I'm quite familiar with what settings work best, but there's one thing that I'm baffled about. I see so many people who are able to MGS2 The Sons of Liberty on PCSX2 (ISO or DVD), yet at the same time, I can't get it to work. I used the tool Delta to rip MGS3 (which oddly enough, works fine, and mostly full speed). Why do I see so many youtube videos of people playing this on PCSX2 where I'm suffering from a PEBKAC error?

I know my specs will most likely not get full speed. If this isn't sufficient information, I don't know what is.
