Playstation format disk error

I just got shadow of the colossus, and I was planning on running it on Pcsx2, but after configuring everything, and turning the disk into an iso, when I tried to boot it I was greeted by a screen telling me "Please insert a Playstation or Playstation2 format disk. I never had a PS2, so I have no clue what this means. I'm really sorry if this is a stupid question but i haven't had any luck solving it. Any help would be highly appreciated, and feel free to tell me how stupid I am if it's a really simple fix.

change the plugin to iso its probly on disk or something

If you never had a PS2 you can't have dumped your BIOS, and therefore:

Using a BIOS file with PCSX2 which you have downloaded from the internet or from a PS2 console you do not own is illegal. You must own the console the BIOS file came from (even if it's broken) to be legal.
