Helloooo everyone!

So for the little story, last night (11pm) i founded this forum!
And... mac version? cool! I ddled it made it work with KH1.
But I wanted to play ot .hack//G.U!
After some strong search here, I realised the mac version was not updated anymore and the only thing I got was a black screen with sound!
Soooo bootcamp power! reboot on windows XP!

And after following carfully all tutorials, I end with a strange probleme!
Everytime I launch the emu, I get the error: "please update directx"

well ... dxdiag said I was on directx9C ... Can't get better on XP they said...
haha well I got better! I founded a directx10 for XP!
BUT I still have the same error!

basic helpfull informations:
graphic card : NVIDIA GeForce GT 120
Intel Core 2 Duo

and... there is a bunch of options and parameters so just tell me what you need, i'll answer quick!

it's now 11:20am still not slept and I wont until it work!Blink

You may think you're up to date, but you will need to install the DirectX End-User Runtimes for August 2009 for it to work I think.

DirectX 10 is not available on XP, and any projects that worked to port it over to XP have basically failed. There is no way to get decent performance in XP while emulating DX10, and there most likely never will be.

When it says to update DirectX, it doesn't mean update from DX9 to 10 (which can't be done), it means update to the latest components of DX9 in your case. Use the web installer or August 2009 Redist.

And the gsdx recognize it and give me more options!
(and on a more personnal note, My fallout 3 run even better so , yes it work!)

As I can see, a real reactive community here! I'll try to help as much as I can later!
Now if you excuse me, .hack//G.U is waiting!

Would be wonderful if anyone used the search function. You'd find about 50 threads about this very issue.

Gives you the options for DX10 in GSdx but they wont work, fallout 3 uses DX9 (not even pixel shaders 3) so it's all just placebo effect for you.

Just wanted to clarify that, thread still closed Tongue
