Is DirectX up to date on your machine? If not, you need to download the latest redistribution here: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/detai...93d210f616

It doesn't matter what DirectX version you have, by the way. You need this update even for DirectX 10.
Athlon 64 X2 5600+ 2.81GHz [Windsor] w/ Noctua NH-C12P
Asus Xonar D2 w/ Logitech Z-5500
e-VGA 8800GTS 640MB 513/792 stock ; 720/1080 o/c
Corsair XMS2 1GB DDR2 PC6400 x2
Western Digital 500GB 16MB cache x2
Thermaltake W0106RU 700W

I may have figured out the reason behind it, apparently the files in the .iso I have don't include a system.cnf file, just the I00 the I01 and the MDS along with a folder labeled inis and the CDVDisoEFP and padwinkeyb ones in it.

If anyone knows of a process to getting this to work PLEASE let me know, such as copying the system.cnf file off a ps2 disc to the game's iso or something.

Thanks in Advance.

huh? what program did you use to make the ISO? try using imgburn and saving the file as a ISO.

I had done exactly just that. I still believe the copy of the game I have isn't complete. What files and/or folders should there be in the .iso?

It shouldn't matter. If you made an ISO with imgburn and it reported it did so successfully you should have a perfect ISO image.

Then what else would be causing me to get this error every time I File > Run CD/DVD?

'Close program'

in the pcsx2 command promt it reads eveything down to

Boot error > SYSTEM.CNF not found
and of course the boot error line is in red...
