Post your PCSX2 cheats-patches here!
It's one of the reasons I warn people to not go overboard with values in the 'How pnach files work' guide when adding money/stats, and to make sure it coincides with the game's maximum values for whatever you're trying to mod. I generally try to stay a bit below it. (e.g. 98 items instead of 99, etc.)

Yeah you're exactly right. If you change values beyond their designed parameters, nothing good ever happens.

Oddly enough, I closed the emulator, edited the pnach file, triple checked to make sure it was correct, and no other money values were listed in the pnach, then I opened PSX2, started a new game, skipped all dialogue and cutscenes (which STILL takes an hour and a half before you can open the menu to see your stats), and ... It STILL shows I have 999,999,999!

I'm an IT guy, so I know better, but I should have started the new game with no codes activated and saved the game with no codes so I could make sure it worked lol. *sigh*

I'm going to restart again with no codes on at all (I'm going to even move the .pnach file so it can't even find it lol), THEN try this again. I think what may have happened is when I first started the emulator, I may have pressed F3 before starting a new game (habit), which loaded a save state that had the previous values, and it put those values in the buffer. I'll know if it worked in about another 1 hour and 31 minutes lol! Almost positive that's what happened though.

Hi everyone, you guys are so awesome with what you are doing helping out all these people! I just wanted to see if anyone has time to help me out with some general cheats for Shin Megami Tensei Digital Devil Saga US - NTSC UC - (D7273511) SLUS_209.74;1

Things like Infinite Funds or Atma, More XP per battle, Inifite HP and MP.

I have looked everywhere online and the only ones I found dont work on the version I'm using, so I would really appretiate it.

Thanks!

For cheat files you don't need to use an enable/master code to begin with. Did you make sure that Enable Cheats is on?!?

I need some help, guys.

I'm trying to get a Max Gald (money) cheat for Tales of Legendia (U) working, but nothing happens.

This is what my pnach file looks like.

Code:
gametitle= Tales of Legendia
//Max Gald
patch=1,EE,062035A6,extended,4495A92B

That's it. I have the pnach named "43AB7214.pnach" (it's the correct CRC according to the wiki and the console). I start the game up, I check Enable Cheats, but nothing happens. No errors, no max money. Nothing.

That's a code that I made myself using Omniconvert/PCSX2CE using the guide on this site. I used this list of cheats to make it: http://wescastro.com/codetwink/cheats.co...efault.htm

I also tried downloading the pnach from this guy: http://forums.pcsx2.net/Thread-Buko-Pand...Game-Saves

And that also didn't work.

What do I do? How can I fix this?

EDIT: NEVERMIND, I AM A RETARD.

As it turns out, I had them in the wrong directory. I was putting them in the cheats folder in the root pcsx2 directory in my Program Files (x86) folder. In reality, they need to be in a relevant folder in Documents. I tried using my cheat file and it still failed to work for some reason, but I tried swapping in Buko Pandan's file and now it works.

So I am having trouble trying to find a working Dark Cloud, infinite water cheat.  I am using the US Version (SCUS971111).  I have converted a few codes that work just fine already using PCSX2 Cheat Converter.

The codes that work for me are the infinite durability for all weapons, but I can't for the life of me find a code that will work for infinite water.  I don't want to use infinite HP because I'd still like to fight the monsters somewhat fairly.

Does anyone know of a working raw code for the US version?  Thanks in advance for any help.

do you have any working cheats for Dark cloud o;
