Problem: "high end" PC and slow performance.(onimusha 2)

Oh god, sorry for the mixup.

What I meant was that the render option that best worked was the Direct3d9 software, meaning I tried the other options.

The image I've sent is the setting that should give me the best performance , but it's not. With this it works at 43 fps EE 98-100% GS 38% VU 10%.

The best one is the D9software. 50 fps EE100% Gs71% Vm10%
All of this tested during fights, to stress test the settings.

We need ALL your settings please.

Take off the Vu Cycle Stealing and try 1 or 2 on the EE side.

My computer:

Interl core i5 4430 CP 3.00Ghz (4 CPUs)
RAM 8gb DDR 3
NVIDIA geforce GTC 660

As said, the game runs betterwhen I use D3D9 software, instead of hardware. Am I even using my NVIDIA?
Also, my motherboard comes with an integrated VFX card, but the monitor is connected to the NVIDIA.

I can run almost any ps2 game on my pc and your cpu is clocked 100Mhz lower than mine. I have no clue what's going on.

Only thing I can think of is the CPU could be throttling. I know it's unlikely but still.

I'd say his vidcard is running in 2d mode rather than 3d mode. I had to add PCSX2.exe to my control panel and force it to high performance (have to do the same in dolphin)

Could you try that?

Wow that seems difficult. How can I do that?
My theory is that my vidcard is not working at all or is not compatible or something like that.

Mmm... ok. Now I'm worried. It's weird, all other games work fantastic in my PC, it's just this emulator that's giving me problems. Folks, thanks for your help. I'm going to bed. If I find out what is going on I will tell you. Bye.
