Problem with FFX (help!)

My game runs smoothly , videos , battles etc.... But when it gets to the part where yuna makes her first sending , after shes done and Tidus talks , the screen dims to black and u can hear him snoring and the game stays there. U can hear the waves on the background but the game doesnt start up again... Ive left it for hours thinking itll pop up again , ive change everything i can possibly imaging ( plugins , configurations , hack , everything) but nothing works, I even downloaded another FFX iso thinking it might be the Iso and still does it.

Specs:
Intel Duo 2.10
Ati 3740 512 MB
6 gigs Ram

GSdx SSSE2
Linuz Iso DVD
SPU2-x

Not sure what else u need...
Please help...
It works perfectly until that part .. never had a slow down at all.

Hehe sorry... I have it original and convert it 2 times to iso image .....
I do not encourage pracy
