Problems with Emulator/settings Sluggish Gameplay
#11
You will need to keep separate configurations for the games that need 0.9.9. Make sure you keep both build versions separate with their own plugin folders etc.
In order to make a game start with a different set of settings you will first need to navigate to My Documents and copy "PCSX2" then paste it back into My Documents so that you've made a copy. Rename your new copy to whatever you want (this will be your settings folder for 0.9.8 (release)). Then right click on PCSX2 0.9.8.exe and make a shortcut to it (this will be your 0.9.8 launcher). Right click on that shortcut and type this at the end of the target with a space after the quotation marks --cfgpath=C:\Users\AccountName\Documents\PCSX2copy\inis\ so will end up with something like this "D:\Games\PCSX2 0.9.8\pcsx2-r4600.exe" --cfgpath=C:\Users\Administrator\Documents\PCSX2-0.9.8\inis\ .
Now you can fire up PCSX2 0.9.8 and open your emu settings to revert them back to what had worked before without affecting 0.9.9s settings.
Good luck.

Problem is. I get bad graphics in hardware mode ^^; the screen blinks black alot during cutscenes or some of the screen won't be visible if not blinking and you can see 0101010101 streaming in the background through the picture. ^^;; and I still get slowdown.

The only game that i know that have problems with the fmv in hardware mode is ffx-2, u can skip the movies or use software mode there(F9)but thats the only problem, u can play fine ffx-2 @4x the native resolution, change again to hardware mode, but use directx 10 not 11, start any game and take a pic of the problem, remember the fmv of ffx-2 dont count Tongue

ps are u using a custom resolution or the upscaling option?

I don't have the option to use DX10. And my custom resolution is 640x480, and no I don't use the upscaling, I keep it at 1x aspect ratio. And on Hardware Mode, Legaia 2 blinks rapidly through the opening and slows down massively, it only slows down in software mode, the picture doesn't blink.

Something is very wrong then, copy-paste if u have it, the rev4600 of gsdx plug in(SSE2) and load that one, check if u can use dx10 with that, use upscale to x2, for the blink problem, press f5 until u dont see it anymore.

your video card suppose to be supported 10 and 11.
drop-down the "Renderer" in the GSdx settings see if there is a DX 10 or 11.
