Purple textures (and some other problems)

This has only occured with this game so far (spider man friend or foe)

Not all textures were purple but most ground textures were.

Also, when trying to play matrix, path of neo i get crazy fps drop and it's unplayable basically. So i'd expect a game that has similar graphics or looks as good as matrix path of neo does i would have similar or the same problems, but when running games similar to it i don't get nearly as much lag?

And mk:shaolin monks. I love this game but it's near unplayable (the fps is not bad and is sometimes high but the game is actually slower than it looks in youtube videos, almost like slow motion, same thing with audio. If i enable all the speed hacks it seems passable to the youtube video game speed (what i mean by this is i compared a youtube video of shaolin monks to my game and it seemed alot slower and worse graphics) but i have to enable mvu along with the other speed hacks (INTC & Wait loop detection) but the game looks damn near pixelated that it makes me not wanna even play it. Also, with alot of games i've been having audio problems, sometimes it sounds corrupted and messed up for a second, and it sometimes also goes slow for a second and continues at it's normal speed.

Regardless, would having a better gpu help with some problems i'm having? I'm planning on buying a gtx 1050 eventually. Oh and also, i get fps drops when playing sly cooper 2 :/

If it helps, here is my current specs

Geforce GT 730
AMD FX 8300 Vishera-8 core
8GB Ram

Your AMD FX 8300 has a STR (single thread performance) of 1394. They recommend at least 1600 for most games. 2000 for more demanding ones. Just because games might look similar, it doesn't mean that one isn't more or less demanding. There are simple looking games that are very demanding. Bottom line, to get decent speeds, you'll want to look into updating your processor. And updating your GPU would be a good idea also.

How would a intel i5 do?

It depends on the i5. Here is a really good website to look up processors single thread ratings & about how much they cost

I am using ver. 1.2.1

I'm using all default settings as far as i know. I have speedhacks on so idk if thats default or not

I'm trying to play spider man friend or foe right now, iso. And in youtube videos the textures are different..for example the bottom of the hub/hellicarrier is green and in videos i watched for comparision it was grey/silver. This doesen't only apply to the hub, it also happens in missions too. Infact this mission i was playing a hour ago had almost all purple textures, like it was missing textures. Heres a pic of the green textures i shoulden't be seeing https://gyazo.com/55fc4b9f2a969313cb3d2f11c9e68012

And here's the purple/missing texture problem: https://gyazo.com/ee4c4a76248568972d4d0e11b44c3dcf

I was just saying i was comparing videos of games im playing with pcxs2 to the videos and the textures were different.

What do you have to say about the texture problems?

Yes but I'm looking for the YouTube videos you're talking about.

About the texture problem, I already answered. We can't provide support on an outdated and unsupported version
