That's not a strategy, that's a fact.

Its like trying to play an MMO and while dumping points in to your intellect (compatibility in our case) or whatever, you want to be an awesome assassin(the speed) class, it just wont happen at the same time, you have to wait till you reach a point where your intellect is at a point you want it, then you can spend your points on agility, or in our case, tweak the code to make it faster.

sorry for the lame MMO analogy but it's the only way i could explain it ;p

yet in earlier stages of PCSX2 you kind of gave attention to speed ( hacks, coding recompilers .etc ) yet doing not as much to compatibility

was it like building a foundation to a more successful Emulator in the future ( which most got rewritten now Tongue )

It wasn't a speed thing,it was a hacking it to make it work kinda thing Tongue2

When will the devteam make a PS2 emulator which runs under the PS2, I'm waiting for it for years now... Smile
