[Question/Issue] Sly 3 lag issues / help

Sly 3, Honor Among Thieves

So, Sly3 Honor Among Thieves is a game that I grew up with and I am going to a so called "LAN" party and I want to play trough the game then, but Sly2 and Sly1 both run smooth as the sun(sly2 have 2 areas it lags a little 40fps), but when it comes to Sly3 in every mission it lags some places down to 25-40, I get stable 49,8-51,10fps otherwise. I am wondering of there is anything to do, any settings ect...

I have:
PCSX2 1.3.1
(Info from PCSX2 console:
Host Machine Init:
Operating System = Microsoft (build 9200), 64-bit
Physical RAM = 8124 MB
CPU name = Intel® Core™ i5-4440 CPU @ 3.10GHz
Vendor/Model = GenuineIntel (stepping 03)
CPU speed = 3.091 ghz (4 logical threads)
x86PType = Standard OEM
x86Flags = bfebfbff 7ffafbbf
x86EFlags = 2c100000
....)

I have Intel Core i5 4th gen and Nvidia GeForce GTX 640.

Thanks in advice, ~André!

What are the EE and GS values during slowdown ?

I usally close all programs and EE stable at 30-60% and GS is at 0-30%

Default except from sound settings, I usally reinstall PCSX per update to make things go more "smooth"

Please post a screenshot of your GSdx plugin settings and speedhacks section settings.

Sometimes speedhacks improve the experience sometimes worsen the experience. That's why they are hacks and not default settings. But this depends on the game and the pc. So just give it a try.

Please post the full emulog after you observed the slowdown.

Don't use the speedhack preset. That generally causes more issues than it does any good.

Set speedhacks manually. Enable MTVU, mVU, set EE Cyclerate to 2.

Use D3D11 HW unless this game specifically requires D3D9. Also make sure you're using SSE4 version of the GSdx plugin.
