Question about PS2 time and date

I wondering if there is a way to save the date and time of the ps2. When I go to the Bios and I set the time it always resets when I log back on. I usually have to force quit out of the ps2 screen. Do I need to not do that? If there is no way I'm not going to be upset I'm just wondering if there is a way to keep the right date and time?? =) Have a great day everyone!!!
