Quick save took too long?
#1
Im using PCSX2 1.0.0 and the emulator works perfectly fine except that suddenly the quick save (F1) and quick load (F3) became too slow for me. It used to take 1 second and now i have to wait about 10 seconds for the process.

Also can anyone explain how to fix "DVCI: File cache was not hit" sorry im not very knowledgeable about this.

I would say if a savestate takes too long either your cpu is struggling with the serialization and compression or the hard disk is struggling with the write process. Is your CPU struggling during emulation? How long does the windows startup take?

Unfortunately we don't support older versions. It might be that the observed problems are already solved with newer builds.

First, update your pcsx2 to the latest version.

I have had this happen to me. What my error was my hand freak out and I hit save state to many times so it cause those errors. Only had it happen once though
