Quicker way to create cheat pnach?
#1
The way I'm doing it right now is pretty tedious, first I copy paste the AR code into omniconvert then I have to copy paste "patch=1,EE," into every line of raw code... Not a huge deal but I have many games to patch and some cheats look like this

9C8BB08C 1058C365
9C8BBC6C 1058C365
9C8BB0AC 1058C365
9C8BC180 14B69FBA
9C8E3B00 0C53A765
9C9A8228 3853E79E
9C9A822C 0533E79E
9C9A8230 3853E79F
9C9A8234 0533E7A4
9C9A8238 3853E7A0
9C9A823C 0533E7A2
9C9A824C 0436E7A8
9C9A8254 0C58C1CD
9C9A825C 0C58C1C9

Is there a more streamlined way to do it?

Just wondering - if that example is "raw code" you got, I'm fairy sure it wasn't converted correctly, it doesn't look like raw code at all to me. At least not as any working one.

you know if some one created a step by step PLAIN ENGLISH guide, it would make life easier.
CPU: Intel core i5-2500k @3.30GHZ
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 280 1024 MB ram
RAM: DDR3 4gb
MOBO: ASUS Sabertooth p67 B3 revision
OS: Windows 7 Home Premium 32-bit (6.1, Build 7601) Service Pack 1

There are several step by step PLAIN ENGLISH guides. Except if you want a guide-for-brainless-people which I don't think is humanly possible.

Yeah that code hadn't been converted yet... When I did convert it, the code started with 'A...', which means you have to use 'word' instead of 'extended' right? At least it seems that way. PCSX2CE always uses extended for some reason

If after conversion you get A as the first letter, it probably means you converted it to or from wrong(or both) formatTongue.(Or they were gameshark write-once codes, but unlikely.)

Edit:
If they ARE write-once(usually starting as A0xxx or A1xxx) I'm not sure if they work as I never tried yet^_^;, but even if they don't, changing them to constant write would work anyway (by changing A to 2 in there). - Just tried by changing one of my games constant write codes to A- codes which are "32bit write once" and it doesn't work in pnach. Changing A to 2 in the first letter of the adress will change those codes to usable 32 bit constant write codes, as long as they were write once, and not a wrong conversion that is.Tongue

Oh and forgot about that - you don't need to change extended to anything else. Extended basically chooses correct value range based on the code automatically.

Start by using 0.9.8, 0.9.6 is ancient and unsupported. Then find some codes online and convert them with this handy program for PCSX2 use:
