hi , whenever I try to record the gameplay of ps2 using fraps latest version pcsx2 lags, why ? is there any special setting for recording ?

fraps will take resources while pcsx2 will take most of your resources too.
if you had a 4.5Ghz dual core, it wouldn't slow down.
