Recording feature?
#1
Do you think there will ever be a patch for PCSX2 which allows a user to record gameplay directly from the same program and outputs a video file to the desktop for example? if not. do you have any ideas on programs which could do so but not limit fps?

"Movie Capture: This is a hidden() feature. By pressing F12 while running PCSX2 with GSdx a message box will appear. In the first field you must show the plugin where the captured video will be stored, and type the file name too. In the second field you can choose a compression codec like DivX or "Uncompressed" which will not compress the video at all. If you choose a compression codec, you will be able to change its settings by pressing the "Config" button. Note that only codecs already installed in your PC will show up.
Press F12 again at any time to stop the capturing. The video produced will be automatically sped up to 100% for your viewing pleasure"

Hmm whenever i record the game speed slows down to about 10 fps.. barely even playable but when i drag the video onto an editing program such as sony vegas.. it's the perfect quality and normal speed.. just need to know how to tackle this problem

PC Specs for any of you who need it.
AMD Phenom II X4 B50 Quad Core CPU
ATI Radeon HD 5570 1GB
4GB Corsair Vengeance 1600MHZ
