Resolved: [Bug Report] Ratchet & Clank 2 [PAL] - Megaturret

Hi,

Following the request of moderation, I post this Thread about a issue in Ratchet & Clank 2 (Going Commando PAL version) :

When we use the Megaturret Glove and drop a turret, it's still bouncing up and down like a reach limit of number turret, It's reproduceable about just upgrade the miniturret glove to megaturret.

My environnement :
- version of PCSX2 : pcsx2-v1.7.0-dev-1158-g690dae5c1-windows-x86
- In Emulation Parameters, I active patch "EE Timing Hack" for fix issue quest "Jamming Array" from crash error.
- All other parameters are defaut.
- For EE/IOP and VUs config see attachement.

This issue was already post in old Thread : https://forums.pcsx2.net/Thread-Ratchet-...megaturret but still not resolved.

Did you find a trick or fix for that ? I really want to finish this game in 100% but it's impossible in this state...  Sad

From what i heard the megaturret deployment doesn't have a known fix.

So We can't finish the game to 100%. :'(

Unfortunately, the megaturret issue is extremly problematic. It was discovered recently that a FPU rounding error might be the cause of that issue, but making a patch is impossible due to how the game works internally, a true puzzle to solve.
