Thanks. It puts frame and z-buffer at the same place in memory and then renderers to them, no visible errors on ps2 is only by chance. There are a few silly games like this.

But r5065 and below work fine in software mode.

I'm trying to run parallel on the threads as much as possible, this is one of the things not compatible with it.
What about all the artifacts in the ZoE2 title screen present in SW mode, but not HW mode? Thanks for the fix on DMC3 on the latest svn, btw.
Uh-oh, I forgot that a memory page should be marked as "used" even if it is read-only, like the z-buffer for z-tests. ZoE secretly transfers data to the z-buffer and nothing notices it now.
Re-tested all my gs dumps, fortunatelly none of them became slower, and this even fixes DMC without the hack I just added.

Thanks appreciate it, but can you fix the PS2 logo that somehow got broken in r5074? It was just fixed in r5072 too =/

not that the bios really matters since you should be using Fastboot otherwise game fixes are not applied.
