I think some other Automatic gamefix which is required for this game is conflicting with the waterfall effect.
I should really consider looking into these gamefixes and try to decrease them with an even more accurate workaround. Thanks for reporting the issue, I'll move this to resolved. but I'll surely keep my eyes on this issue to pursue a general fix on this someday Ninja
