Right Trigger vs. Left Trigger saturation/sensitivity

Benn playing Gran Turismo 4 and mapped my triggers to the analogs L3 up and R3 down. But the RT is way more sensitive then LT, I only need to press around 50% for it to go 100% while on LT I can feather it a lot more. Already tried to switch bindings but it's a problem with the RT. Could it be a Xbox 360 controller related problem or is it the emulator/controller plugin?
