Rogue Galaxy: can't load chapter 8

I first encountered a problem after seed battle (end of chapter 7) where the game would give me a black screen, pcsx2 continued to run as if there was no problem.

Then I transferred my save to my ps2 and played past the sequence, but when I returned to pcsx2, the game would not let pass the loading screen with my new save file, though my older save works fine.

I tried to play a bit further and save from another location, same result.

I'm using pcsx2 1.21 r5875 with the original game dvd.

I joined my memcard in case somebody wanted to take a look at it.

Make an ISO with IMGBURN and play from that.

The game is DVD9 and that's exactly the point where you'll encounter a problem if you didn't correctly create the image(the image to contain only the first layer or the game disk)

i was actually playing it from the original disc, but i guess CDVD Gigaherz plugin doesn't support dual layers dvd.

Yeah stay away from CDVD Gigaherz for DVD9 games
