And what of https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/cmake...ets-patch/ ? It sounds as if it will help find wxwidgets when running cmake, but I'm not sure. I don't want to install something from AUR like that without some sort of confirmation that it won't break my system.

Don't have time to hack in the middle of others package (if you can extract me diff, I can look). But it is unlikely to be the solution to your problem Wink On my side, I could improve the wx 3.0 behavior.

I don't really expect you to. I can see that you are a Debian guy. Any suggestions on how I can make this build in the mean-time?

What do you mean by "if you can extract me diff, I can look"?

I mean the diff between std package and this one. Anyway, your issue is likely the missing of wx 2.8 dev package.

I push a new version on git. It would handle a bit better a dual wx-2.8/wx-3.0 install. But the best solution is to install onlyx wx2.8 dev package.

I agree, just instal wx2.8 dev package.

The problem with that is that there aren't any listed as "dev".

I don't think Arch uses dev packages and just includes that sort of thing into the regualer one since I don't recall seeing any dev packages. For example look at the package list when searching for "gcc"
https://www.archlinux.org/packages/?sort...r=&flagged=

No dev packages.

[edit2] quick google search confirms my suspicions.

All packages are effectively dev versions.

In this case they need to do somethings to select correct wx. On debian I have update-alternative which give me the possibility to select the wx-config version. Potentially I can get the config file directly in /usr/lib (wx-config is only a link IIRC) but all distrib have different location.... Hopefully it will work with my current hack.

I think I need to ask on the AntergOS forum what to do at this point. Or ask DaTankAC. Actually, I'm ask him first.
