you're far enough the initial bugs wouldn't hit you.. if you scale it back to native and untick the limiter how much do you get?

back to the issue. even the ISO isnt running full speed.
The point is that it doesn't matter if u can run crysis or not. It's about what is good for pcsx2 not u. Pcsx2 uses only 2 cores of ur cpu. In ur case it's only 2 cores on 2.66GHz and 2 more makes it work even slower than i3 2.66GHz (if there is such). And geforce 260 isn't performance deamon neither. That's why ur hardware is qualified as mid-range. As I've said before don't expect miracles with something like that.

if you have nothing valuable to contribute just keep it to yourself, you're just making the thread messy.
(and no, posting your pathetic little PC's specs or discussing what you regard as 'high-end' is not appreciated by anyone.)
@GuyFawkesV
have you tried going into nVidia control panel and reverting Global settings to their defaults?
Also if you haven't already, try starting a new game instead of loading the savefile.
Why did you bother with copy and pasting plugins? Just download the latest beta (0.9.7) and
the latest plugin packs and try running it on stock settings.

perhaps that would be best, and just note that if demi slows you down don't worry about it too much, it's the only spell that slows mine down.
another thing you can try is to set affinity for PCSX2 to cores 2 and 3 (which would be the last 2 cores of a quad) which are rarely used by windows itself

Oh, so much flame
)), I suppose u do have 2.66GHz also and u've tried let's say God of War 2 or Gran Turismo 4 on it
)). Almost every new version of pcsx2 have higher hardware requirements than it was before and sometimes games that worked fullspeed on 2GHz needs 3 now.
@GuyFawkesV - just find older version of beta 0.9.7 let's say something like rev 2xxx and try it, maybe it will be faster, if not try 0.9.6.

you are totally wrong there. new versions run faster than old ones and for sure they dont need better hardware... if you compaire the speeds of 0.9.6 and 0.9.7 you will see 0.9.7 is veeeeery faster.
