about savestates, as I already told you :

1 - They aren't cross-versions compatible, most of the time.

in case you don't understand what it means : if you made a savestate on another pcsx2 version, It's highly possible it won't be compatible with your current version.

idk if my version auto updated or not, but if so would that include like loading screens no even working mid game?

yes it would (even if auto-updating isn't a pcsx2 feature )
