SCP Service Problem
#1
Hi,

I've installed the SCP Driver as per the instructions here:

http://forums.pcsx2.net/Thread-XInput-Wr...Controller

However it will only recognise a controller when I run SCPServer.exe. The service does not appear in my service list so I cannot even try to start it.

I am running Windows 7 64 bit with a PS3 controller and I am not using bluetooth.

Has anyone else experienced this problem? I have searched for a solution but have been unable to find anything. Sorry if I have missed it.

I thought I had. In my list of 'Programs', I have the following: 'Microsoft Xbox 360 Accessories 1.2' Is there something else I need perhaps?

Here's my install log in case that helps:

Thanks for the suggestion but it still doesn't install the service when I try a "Force" install.

Are you sure you uninstalled it completely? To do that, you uninstall it normally, then go to device manager, find the DS3, right click on it and uninstall and make sure to check the "Delete the driver software for this device"

If you didn't do it that way, then it's likely motioninjoy core driver is still there, interfering. I helped a guy out with a similar problem in Teamviewer one time, and this is what it wound up being.

Ah, no, I didn't do anything in the device manager. I'll try that and report back the results. Thanks.
