The emulator just closes when I get to the first cinematic after pressing new game
Im using the video plugin GSDx SSE2!! Please QUICK REPLY!!

You are giving 0 information so no one can help. You didn't mention the most basic info, like PCSX2 version and settings, SPU2 plugin and settings, GSdx settings.

Oh! Sorry!! Forgot that since I was so excited on playing.

AMD Athlon™ 64 X2 Dual
Core processor 5000+
2.61 GHz, 2.00GB RAM
Nvidia GeForce 9600(I think)

PCSX2 Version
0.9.6 r1888

Oh and the cinematic are f***ed

don't you have any speedhack enabled ?
try gsdx software too, it may help

Shadow Hearts videos hang with GSdx DX9 Hardware, it's fixed in DX10. Also videos are messed up with any GSdx hardware mode so use Software for them

Just use the Software renderer, it's much better for this game.
