Samurai warriors XL import help
#1
If you want to play samurai warriors xl with your samurai warriors data, you have to import by physically swapping the discs.
Unfortunately the disc swapping function doesn't work properly so you have to find a workaround.

I have seen multiple threads and even posted my own but i still can't manage to make the import work for samurai warriors to samurai warriors xl.

I have tried extracting the files from the discs into a folder and re-creating it using img burn however this still doesn't work and im not 100% sure which exact files need to be in the folder since some files are copies. This doesn't work when mounting the new iso and opening it with the plug in option, and when i open it as an iso, i have to wait about 14 minutes until it loads because of a message that says 'searching for layer 1' and 'couldn't find layer 1' , but it only loads the first part of the game where you are supposed to make a save file, after that the screen stays black.

I have another thread about this but i feel like i didn't understand the problem that well myself and couldn't explain the situation properly. I didn't post anything for a couple of months so i thought making i new thread would be more appropriate, where i can give a much detail and information about any errors i encounter plus i will post screenshots.
A few users claim to have made it work and have posted solutions but they either dont work for me, or im maybe doing something wrong.

If anyone can help me, please reply. Feel free to ask me anything about this and i will try my best to answer with as much detail.

There probably aren't many people here who've succesfully done this, and without that knowledge it's hard to say if and where you've made a mistake.

Wanted to add that some people say to run the new iso as a plugin which has been mounted to a drive.
When i try that, i get an error like GSdx32-AVX or something similar.
This appears to be the only way people claim it works but i get this error, and my pcsx2 stops running.

That sounds a bit confusing. Did you mount the ISO on a virtual disc drive and run it through PCSX2 with Plugin selected in the CDVD tab?
And what was the exact error when you tried that?

Yes, i created an iso from the 2 game files combined and mounted it to drive F:, then ran it through pcsx2 plugins and the error is very short but here it is.

When changing the plugin from sse2/3/4 to any other one, i always get this error

''(GameDB) 9693 games on record (loaded in 206ms)
Path: C:\Program Files (x86)\PCSX2 1.4.0\Plugins\gsdx32-avx2.dll
File is not a valid dynamic library.
[wx] Failed to load shared library 'C:\Program Files (x86)\PCSX2 1.4.0\Plugins\gsdx32-avx2.dll' (error 1114: a dynamic link library (DLL) initialization routine failed.)
Some kinda plugin failure: C:\Program Files (x86)\PCSX2 1.4.0\Plugins\gsdx32-avx2.dll''

Then running anything mounted to the drive gives me this:
