Our server will be under maintenance, so we can reorganize the way it is set up, upgrade our OS and fix stuff here and there Smile
We hope downtime will only be for tomorrow October 18th and the day after, the 19th but these things have a habit of going horribly wrong so no promises!
Note that this includes our forum.

Sorry for the inconvenience, but we hope the changes will make the site and forums faster and more efficient Smile

Out of interest what kind of server is the site running on? I've gleaned so much as it's on a Fasthosts server of some description but I've no idea whether it's on a VPS or Dedicated.

If the memory usage is wholly an Apache problem and you haven't already played around with MinSpareServers/MaxSpareServers/MaxRequestsPerChild that might help a bit.

We've been over the 5000 GB a few times without fasthost throttling the server.
