Seeking smooth PS2 TV emulation setup?
#1
Hey there! I've been exploring options for setting up a TV emulation system that allows me to easily select and play my favorite PS2 games. My initial idea was to utilize the PS2 core in Retroarch, leveraging its UI and database management features (though the box art detection needs improvement). However, I've noticed that the Retroarch core is still in an alpha stage, which affects its stability and performance.

Another option I'm aware of is directly using PCSX2 and setting up Steam games with shortcuts to boot the ISO files directly. However, I'm hoping to find a better solution that reduces the manual work involved.

If you have any suggestions or know of a more efficient way to achieve this setup, I'd greatly appreciate your insights! I'm eager to enhance my gaming experience with a user-friendly and seamless solution for playing PS2 games on my TV. Thanks in advance for your help!
