So I've been looking around the forum for a while now and I can't find anyone with the same problem as I have.
I'm using PCSX2 0.9.6, and I'm trying to run SotC. I've enabled speed hacks (X3 and all the options on the right) and lowered the resolution, and I've also lowered the quality of the graphics displayed.
I can run SotC, but during the intro it slows down to around 4 FPS. I told myself, hey, if this is playable, I don't care about the intro. So I skipped that and started a new game (taking the time to set Progressive Scan to On in the options). During the cinematics I once again skipped, and I reached the part where someone says, "Now, be on thy way".
Supposedly you can start playing from there, but all I get is a white screen with a circle and a dagger on the bottom right part of the screen.
My PC specs, and the options set in PCSX2:
Intel Core 2 Duo E4500 @2.2 GHz (features: MMX, SSE, SSE2, SSE3, SSSE3)
NVidia GeForce 7600 GT
Windows 7 64-bit
2GB RAM
PCSX2 0.9.6, compiled on Feb 27 2009
ZeroGS 0.97.1
-> Anti-Aliasing: None
-> 640x480
-> No Target Resolves
Linuz Iso CDVD 0.8.0
CPU options: EErec, Vu0rec, Vu1rec and MTGS are on. Frame limiting is on.
Speed hack options:
Use x3 cycle rate
INTC Sync Hack
Enable IOP x2 cycle rate
WaitCycles Sync Hack
That should be enough info, but if you need anything else just ask
