Shadow of the collossus MAJOR lag...
#1
Okay, so I have a relatively good gaming computer for it's age.

8 Gb of Gskill DDR3 Ram.
3.2 GHz Phenom II CPU
Sapphire Radeon HD 5670 Video Card.
Raidmax 530 watt PSU.
500 Gb 7200 RPM Seagate HDD

I feel like this game shouldn't be running at 14 fps...And when I max out the speedhacks, It gets up to 35 fps, max. =[

If I could possibly get some help with these issues, I'd love you all!

This is my first time posting in this forum, so please take it easy on me D:.

set Gsdx to native mode, for speedhacks set vu cycle stealing slider to 1, enable the MTVU speedhack.
if it still runs slow then you need a better cpu

it should be noted that even the best top of the line computers cant run this game without vu cycle stealing set to 1.

GSDX: Native or whatever resolution you want, as long as it does not decrease the framerate, or your GPU usage does not hit 100%.
MTVU: Do not use it. From what I've heard, it causes the framerate to drop even more.
VU Cycle Stealing: Set it to 2 or even 3 if necessary. Increase FPS alot.

You're running one of the most hardware demanding games on PCSX2.

Thanks guys, I managed to get the game up to around 67 fps. I appreciate the help! It had a lot to do with me using the turbo function to my advantage.
