Shadow problems
#1
Hi
I am here with a legit copy of a game, and it does not work properly. I gone through so much to find the solution, but not sure if i found it. In the game (Driven to destruction), the shadows are still at first, but when i move, the shadows leaves a trail which will cover the screen annoyingly. I tried much and i found what could be it. When running with dx11(hw), it does the thing, but when ran on dx11(sw), it works somehow. It doesnt make the shadows spread that way, the shadows work fine, but instead drops my fps crazily, which doesnt happen on any other game. Yes my pc is the high end and i think it shouldnt be happening.

"high end" doesn't really mean anything.

Post your PC specifications. And go to config->video->plugin settings and set extra rendering threads to however many cores your CPU has minus 1, but not more than 4.

CPU - 3.9Ghz quad
GC - radeon 280x
RAM - 8gb
MEM - 2tb+

-and "extra rendering threads" did not fix it.

Okay now we got somewhere.

Then did you try what I said in my first post?

Quote:go to config->video->plugin settings and set extra rendering threads to however many cores your CPU has minus 1, but not more than 4.

In this case you would set 3.
