Short PCSX2 GUI Question
#1
Hi,

I was just wondering something. I'm sorry if this has been answered before or is already common knowledge. I have not come across it yet after a good deal of searching and browsing the forums and FAQs here.

When the new PCSX2 GUI is ready, will the old GUI also still be supported?

That is to say, will the executable with the legacy GUI continue to be updated alongside the new GUI after the new one is ready? IIRC, the last legacy executable I know of is r2186.

I much prefer the legacy style GUI, as it it much more similar to ePSXe 1.7.0's design. I frequently use both PCSX2 and ePSXe, and I find it very simple and straightforward to use both. I feel both are well organized and bare only essentials. I fancy them both very efficient designs.

So far, and I mean no offense to the developers, I don't like the new GUI very much. Just feeling my way through it, it just feels much more disorganized and tedious to me.

So because of this, I hope the legacy GUI continues to exist in the future when the new GUI is ready.

Thanks for listening Smile
