Should I be getting only 10-20 fps in Shadow of the Colossus with my specs?

You still didnt say if you tried GSdx 1398 or 1406 yet, it could be the ATI bug in hardware mode affecting you.

I'm downloading 3DMark06 right now. I'll post back with results once I have them.
I was using r1888, the one from the beta download page on the forum.
As for the plugin, it was GSdx 1873 sse41 0.1.15

*sigh*

Ok, do try r1406 and 1398 and see if they do any better.

That's totally an issue with the graphic card. Not the card itself, but GSdx working with it.
Maybe the drivers, since they're so new and all.
As Shadow Lady suggested (2 times already), try the older GSdx builds! Tongue2

Ah, I never knew about the ATI glitch. Sorry for being so dense. I didn't realize you were suggesting to get an older revision.

Though I just tried this out and it's giving me the same slowdowns as I got in the beginning. I'll give it a shot with version 1398 in a second.
Okay, so 1398 is also slow in hardware mode.

My 3DMark06 just finished downloading, so I'll return back with what it gives me.

Guess it's not the same bug then, wonder if it's a new bug related to only the 5xxx line... ah well at least you can play them in software :P

Here's my 3DMark06 results. It probably could have been higher if I restarted first, but I still have no idea what the number means anyway.

I'm going to bed now, but I really appreciate the fast help you guys gave.

I'll post tomorrow again if I find anything new.

Your graphics scores seem low. In comparison, my 8800GT scored 6430 for SM 2.0 and 5960 for SM 3.0.
Your 5870 should definitely give a better result than mine. Judging by some of the results from others, you should be getting around 8000+ for both tests.
