Im sure that its something you've done on your end, we don't send out pixies to alter your emu version while you sleep.

anyway, obviously a support issue, moving

I've tried playing Silent Hill Origins and Shattered Memories but can't see anything but where the flashlight shines...

Wait, what?

Last time I tried, SH Origins was unplayable in hardware mode after I got to the hospital. Did something change, is it working now?

Yeah I'm playing it. But like I said it is a little annoying to play when all you can see is what is lit up by the flashlight. everything else is pitch black.

Why is it doing this?

A severe bug that we can't currently fix in GSdx hardware rendering.
I heard ZZogl does better in this game. Alternatively use software rendering with GSdx.

yeah that worked. but its weird, everytime I turn on my flashlight the game slows down... I guess I'll just play without it, it works just fine. Thanks
