This game should be fine with the XGKick Hack Gamefix enabled according to a user. Should now be autoenabled from r5609 onwards.

Hmm :/ can you try playing with clamps and stuff too?

Oh make sure you have the latest version too as the buildbot was broken so a too old one was available Smile

Strange...
Just got the 5613 from the buildbot, enabled the automatic fix, tried with default & full clamping mode... no change...
The black spikes are still there, even when software rendering is used (see screenshot)...

Are we talking about the same bug here? Mine are garbage poly/spikes appearing when walking around in the prologue & first scenes of the game...

@Parotaku for reference what is a "garbage poly/spike"? is it like something that hasn't rendered or displayed properly?

yes it is, usually its a polygon that gets stretched across the screen, it is referred to as "SPS" (Spikey Polygon Syndrome), coined by us ofc Tongue

Paro: hmm a guy on the google issues list said it helped.. https://code.google.com/p/pcsx2/issues/detail?id=1054&can=1&q=siren&colspec=ID%20Status%20Priority%20Component%20Plugin%20Owner%20Summary

Guy on GoogleCode Wrote:there is still slight polygons spike when u move camera around but only for second during start of movement, then it disappears!
I see... So it was completely spicky before and now it's just slightly spicky... Tongue
Well... I guess the 'completely spicky' state was already fixed some time ago because I didn't have it recently... (even with XGKick off)

I'll go & try to make a blockdump for the devs then, if they want to have a look at these remaining spikes...Rolleyes
