Software mode runs a lot slower after 1.3.1.1415

The changes make no sense as to why it would run 30% slower in software rendering.  Can somoene investigate this?

1415 or 1417?

After 1415 and before 1417 should be the same as before 1410. After 1417 there was an effective change in comparison to before 1410. Can you please check 1408, 1415 and 1417 again?

I've tried Tribes:AA and there is no difference in software speed(limiter at max) between the 13xx versions, 1416 and 1422 for that game.

Try Ace combat 04, the even the plane selection screen runs a lot slower on 1416 and above.

Not only that , all the latest builds after v1.3.1-1415 wont work and it asks for plugins that isn't compatible to my PC , even when i did download the missing files "DLL's" it says VCRUNTIME140.dll not installed properly

1416 onwards are built using VS2015.

I think you need the x86 runtimes from https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download...x?id=48145

Yup. That fixed it for me just now. Was having the same DLL error until that was installed.

Then the move to VS2015 is what's slowed the software rendering down. Can someone look into this?

Might help if you specify other games besides Ace '04, then we can compare it as well. I for one can't test Ace Combat 04 because I don't own the game.
