Somewhat of a Puzzle! (CAN YOU SOLVE?)
#1
Hey, ya'll. My name's Chris, and I'm quite new here. I have an issue that I cannot seem to solve for the life of me, and would appreciate any input from experienced/seasoned PCSX2 users in the community.

I have pictures to show virtually everything you need to know. If you need something else, please ask.

It begins like this...

I really want to use a GS plugin that isn't SSE2, but PCSX2 wants to be a huge d***hole about it. This is the error I receive. Common, I know.

Now you're probably wondering, "Well, dude, your DirectX is updated... RIGHT?"

Right. It is, actually. (Don't mind the little raindrop. Is meh cursor.)

Now onto the, "Chris, maybe your PC doesn't support DirectX 11."

It doesn't...?

What in the fudgecakes, guys...? Can anyone help me with this? Is it my processor? I really want to play some HD PS2 games. Crap.

All suggestions welcome. Thank you!

Yes, that is exactly it.

That cpu supports sse3 not ssse3.

try changing the plugin to sse2
on the pcsx2 menu where it says config, go to Plugin/BIOS Selector, then on the line where it says GS click that button and go up to the top (MSVC 16.00,SSE2) then down to apply and restart the emulator

EDIT: alternatively select the sse3 like the others have said Smile
Not sure what graphics card you have, it's memory bandwidth,
it's temperature, fan speed, what pixel shader it has
try TechPowerUp's gpu-z

Not sure what your cpu is try cpu-z

Pcsx2 uses SSSE3 not SSE3.

Wouldn't it be better if you just got a whole new pc?
