Sound is pretty choppy and video is a little delayed?

So i'm pretty new to this, but i've downloaded PCSX2, got the BIOS... however like stated my sound seems to be pretty choppy almost like i'm running the game in slow mo (so far it only seems to be my dirge of cerberus disk)

my CPU is an Intel i7 quad core
my GPU is a Gigabyte Nividia Geforce GTX 560
i've got 8g of RAM
and i'm running windows 7

I've barely touched the settings so any recommendations would be great.

what is your i7's basic speed?
DoC maybe possible a Mid-high demanding.

Tried the setting but it's telling me my GS isn't working properly? didn't seem to change much the VU thing, also the logos seem to appear on the bottom of the screen when the next one appears (the previous one appears on the next one)

Your hardware is probably too slow. You can try few presets and see which one works best for you. If it is actually a real sound issue, you can change the sound backend and other settings from the SPU2 config.
