Speed Hacks... no difference? FFXII

Abner: When you say your CPU is at 25%, do you mean where it says CPU % in the pcsx2 window? Because if that says 25% than it's not your graphics that's causing the slowdown...

Try going into the advanced options and setting "Clamp mode" to none.

Yes.... CPU in the PCSX2 window. It's hardly over 50% ... I'll try that too... thanks.

BTW... why is vu skip is not available in recent version?

EDIT:
Just went to the screenshot thread and found this thread below. I have almost the same config but 4 gb ram and Geforce 8600 1 gb....
The only diff is that I use D3D 11 (HW) on windows 7....
Shouldn't I get full speed?

Cpu: Intel Core2 Duo E8500 @3.16Ghz
Ram: 2GB DDR2
Graphics: Geforce 8800GS 320mb

GSDX 890 0.1.14: Renderer D3D 10(HW)
SPU2-X 1.1.0: Default
Gigaherz's CDVD 0.7.0: All games running from physical DVD drive
Bios: Europe V02

Final Fantasy XII (PAL) SLES 54354
Playable Full speed. Looks, sounds and plays fantastic! Barely a hiccup anywhere.

i play fffxii with dx9 graphics and it runs smoothly with no speedhacks at all.

Wait... what are your specs? What resolution do you use?

I got it to run at 100% with my setup in my sig. Try downloading both the latest beta of pcsx2 and the latest revision of gsdx, that helped a lot for me and my friend. My friend ran it at full fps and his laptop is weaker than mine.
Laptop
Intel Core 2 Duo PM8600 @ 2.4 GHz
4 GB DDR3 1066 RAM
ATI Mobility Radeon HD 3670 512 MB

Desktop
AMD Phenom II x2 550 (unlocked to 4)@ 3.5ghz
4 GB DDR3 1600 RAM
Sapphire 5770 1GB

Update:
Finally I was able to get things straight.
First fo all : Gsdx using DX9 !!!!! I really don't know why, but my Geforce 8600 likes it a LOT more than DX10 and DX11.
Thrown away all the speedhacks, using a ISO, using beta r18888 and .... 1280x720 at 100% full speed (CPU 35%).
Occasional frame slowdowns (45 fps) on very crowded places....

Thanks everybody for the help.

Now if I could find a way to get that damn ps2 joypad adapter work under win7 64bit, I could really be satisfied!
