Star Wars Battlefront 2: Frame Rate Issues

I recently downloaded PCSX2 (0.9.8), and Battlefront 2 for it, and for the most part it runs fine, aside from the audio speeding up and slowing down, but when I enter a battle, the frame rate drops to around 5fps, making it unplayable. I saw another old thread which had the same problem that solved it by setting GSdx (mine is GSdx9 I think) to native, but it hasn't solved it for me...Any Ideas?
