see the specs in my sig

I'm thinking about getting a PC to run PCSX2 in a couple months? how well will the below specs work? (It's an Alienware X51, I like it cause it's small and it would hook up to my TV. I'm open to suggestions on other PCs too.)

-i7-3770 (8M Cache, up to 3.4 GHz
-8GB Dual Channel DDR3 SDRAM at 1600MHz
-1GB GDDR5 NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX 555

Also how well does PCSX2 work when reading from a game disc?

That PC looks good.

Games often have lag or performance issues when reading straight from the game disc.
It's best to make an ISO file from the disc, using a program like ImgBurn.

if you have nvdia will pcsx2 go fast?

^Is a laptop, I know desktop are x2 better than laptop, but what can I do? Desktop aren't portable, and you can't exactly build a laptop yourself.

AMD + 1.5Ghz, I don't think you'll be able play anything half decently because PCSX2 loves dual+ core Intel CPUs and High (3.0Ghz+) clock speeds.

Maybe 2D games if MTVU hack is enabled with other hacks? Not very familiar with AMD CPUs so that may not even be enough.

It turbo cores to 2.4 ghz when dealing with heavy tasks. I can overclock to 2.6ghz as well.
