Strange texture issue in Metal Gear Solid 3: Subsistence (black spots)
#1
Hey guys. Been using PCSX2 for a few years now but I've encountered an odd error with MGS3. I see black spots on some textures whilst playing the game.

Specs:
AMD Phenom II x2 555 at 3Ghz
Windows 7 64
4GB DDR3 RAM
Radeon 5770

I've tried a number of different configurations, but nothing seems to help. The issue dissapears with the ZeroGS plugin, but a whole host of other problems pop up. I have the game running at full speed otherwise, and I have tried a few GSdx plugins and setups. (Direct3D 9, 10, 11). My DirectX is up to date, along with my GPU drivers. No speedhacks help.

I apologise if this has been posted before, I can't seem to find anything regarding the issue. Any help would be much appreciated.

I don't see any black spots?

Try with a (Software) renderer.
Core i5 3570k -- Geforce GTX 670  --  Windows 7 x64

Sorry, not the best picture in the world. Software mode fixes the issue but with a huge drop in FPS.

I've attached comparison shots highlighting the problem.

Its a GSDX problem. But atm there is no fix.
Its some bug related to lights.

There are some games too where the lights are not ok yet.
