Suikoden Freezing 40 Hours In
#1
So I'm about 40 hours into Suikoden 5, when suddenly as the game is loading a cutscene - I believe it's a cutscene, anyway, but I've never seen it (I've already loaded dozens obviously) it freezes at the loading screen. If I go to the console it's spamming this endlessly:

My question is, anyone else experience this issue? I've tried fiddling with hacks and stuff, nothing is working so far.

I'd like to try converting the savestate to pal from ntsc since I have a pal version of the game also, but when I try to open it in save builder it doesn't recognize my savestate file (it's a .p2s file instead of .ps2??).

Any help would be GREATLY appreciated!!

Thanks.

Try loading from a memory card save than a saved state.
Saved states cannot be opened by any other program like mymc or ps2 save builder because they are not PS2 memory card files, they are PCSX2 saved states

Ohh I did not know that. I thought they opened save states as well. So there is no way to convert save states? Thanks for your quick reply!

For some reason builder won't recognize my .ps2 memcard files either. Sad
