Suikoden Tactics Dark Screen
#1
I used patch to skip the intro so i can get in game fine. but the problem is the in game battle is very dark... i don't know how to explain but it is only dark in cutscenes and battles, in the world map menu, it is normal (bright).

i used the pcsx2 0.9.6, and latest gsdx.

btw, how do i use the latest revision? do i just put it in my pcsx2 folder and then run the revision one instead of pcsx2 0.9.6.exe for instance?

Use ZeroGS 0.97.1 with No Target CLUT checked to fix that problem, check No Target resolves to get extra speed and the Resolve Hack #1, #2, Fast Update, this probably will give you 50+fps ( it will get slower than this when selecting a character), you can use Gsdx Software but this will be slower something like 35fps on my pc.
Just so you know you will see the range of the weapon but not where you can go, if you go in one direction till you can't advance more without pressing extra hard in the button then that the limit where you can walk.

yeah, i tried gsdx software mode and it runs normal for 30-40 fps. is there any way to config gsdx so it can run hardware mode with software mode compatibility? is software mode supposed to be that slow?

Yes because it renders everything using your CPU, the hardware mode can use the hardware acceleration capabilities on your GPU which brings speed but cant render everything as accurate. (however if you had a much faster CPU than GPU then it'd be a different story :P)

30-40fps but probably when you select characters and attack it will be slower then that on software, with ZeroGS i get more than full speed PAL when not doing the actions i said before.

i used zerogs and used only 2x anti aliasing to make the game more playable (50-70 fps)... no anti aliasing is plain ugly and with more than 4x aa, the game is unplayable in my machine with only 20-30 fps.

Sorry but you need to own a PS2 so we can help as we dont support illegal content like using a illegal BIOS.
