Tales of the Abyss Skit background texture problem
#1
Well, I searched through the forums but I don't think anyone's had this trouble before.

Uhh, I was playing Tales of the Abyss and on the PScx .96 official stable build, the skit -background (just the original background freezing and having talking characters on top of it) is fine but in the beta 1474 beta release, the background is all broken up.

Is it just my computer or is this a common thing. I use the beta release because the game runs a lot faster on beta than it does on the official stable build.

Oh and for both versions, I use GSdx 1479, with DirectX10(hardware) with 800 by 600 resolution(it runs faster) with the default settings.

Thank You

hey, I had this problem too. I think it has something to do with the gsdx 1.15 version. The skits work perfectly on 1.14.

Use rev. 1406 GSdx. The newer ones seems to broke the background on skits as you say. http://forums.pcsx2.net/thread-3031.html

Already tried, doesn't work ><. But older versions DO work, rev 1406 as pedrosilva recommended. Is the newer versions more beneficial in speed in any way?

If you have an ATI then no. I think ATI got some speed downs with latest rev. Not sure.
