Tales of the Abyss(al sound)
Hi guys!
With the latest version of pcsx2, TotA runs pretty smooth on my PC, there is a slow down without speedhacks, but I barely recognize them(just after using speedhacks, I did). But this is not my problem.
I'm posting this post because even without the speed hacks, the sound doesn't really work, and I recorded it, with all necessary information on my preferences and PC. I hope everything is readable, I thought 170 MB would be too big so I used Media Maker™.

As you can see, it gets a bit faster with some speedhacks options in it, but the sound doesn't get better/worse. The game is really playable, but I notice the bit of slow down due to the sound, without listening to the sound, I really do not notice it at all, at least not much. So, I hope everything is readable, if not I will use screenshots. I hope you can help me, I wouldn't mind running it without speedhacks.

Un-checking "native" just gives a little blurry silhouette, but nothing more.

ED: Argh, dammit. You can see what's checked and whats not, but no text at all. I will at least give you my system info:
2 CPUS á 2,5 Ghz,
Geforce 9400 GT with 1 GB.

Sound is some on-board device.

Hahaha, im a DAMN fool! I unchecked everything in the sound settings, and miracle, oh miracle, it works just fine. I also use the first recommended speedhack to the left, and there is just a little sound..."scratching" when a battle starts.

It works nearly perfect, Im so stupid, why do I always try AFTER asking xD?!

diegochiha, though my problem is quite soluted, I didn't find a synchronizing mode in the sound plugin settings oo?

ED: And I noticed music is a bit slow, but its oookay

ED2: Oh, okay, I'll get the latest beta, sorry bout that Smile that one the right one?

ED3: Huh, wait, that's the one I already had.

ED4: Here's how its like now: BLA. forgot to do the setting to record audio and I dont want to record it again with sound -.-'

ED5. I did do it. I cant decide.
so..,problem solved?

Pretty much, yeah. Some slow music or stuttering left, but mostly in the beginning of a fight, so no problem anymore. Thanks anyways Smile
