Tales of the Abyss funky graphics
Hi, I haven't been using emulators since znes because they never seemed to work well, but your screenshot section looks nice so I figured I'd try.
Well it's isn't working well. I assume I did something wrong.
I'm trying to play Tales of the Abyss but this is what I get:

[Image: messed001.jpg] [Image: messed002.jpg] [Image: messed003.jpg] (ignore the "double window" I screenshot'ed into MsPaint (and messed up) because hitting f8 did nothing.
Tried both pixelshader 2 and 3. Windowed and fullscreen. No dice

So what's wrong?

AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core 4200+
2.21 GHz, 2GB Ram
nVidia GeForce 8800 GTS 512
running pcsx2 0.9.6
Graphics Plugin: GSdx 890 (MSVC 15.00, SSE@) 0.1.14
Ddvdrom:Linuz ISO CDVD 0.9.0

Edit:Just noticed there are pics of Tales of the Abyss in the Snapshot topic, so obviously the game does work.

Seems like you dont have "Logarithmic-Z" enabled in GSdx.
Core i5 3570k -- Geforce GTX 670  --  Windows 7 x64
Ah, thank you that's much better.
Logarithmic-Z was never mentioned in the configuration guide. What's it do? Do I leave it on or are there instances where it should be off?

Nice avatar by the way, I loved Rozen Maiden.
